MEMPHIS PARROT HEAD CLUB 2007 EVENTS
Sunday, July 8th---Cheeseburgers in Paradise cookout for the families at Ronald McDonald House. We had a most excellent time serving cheeseburgers and hot dogs and helping the kids do crafts. Approximately 100 people ate with us, and it was great to be able to be a distraction to the families and kids facing treatments at St. Jude Hospital.
Friday and Saturday July 13-14—Hot Springs Day Dreamin’ at the Clarion Resort on the Lake, Hot Springs, AR musical guests included Joe Bennett from Margaritaville, New Orleans, 2 Strange Birds out of Little Rock, and The Wes Loper Band out of Mobile, Al. Proceeds benefitted the Humane Society
Saturday, August 4th---Fill the Boat for RM House, WalMartSupercenter. This is “no sales tax” weekend so we should have a big bunch of shoppers. Saturday, October 27th ---Race For the Cure, We will man the water station for the Susan Kohman Race for the Cure. This event brings awareness for cancer treatment.
Meeting of the Minds (MOTM)
Nov. 1 - Nov. 5 Key West, Fla. We had several members go down for this festive event including me, Karen, Chris, Jep, and CD.

Saturday Dec. 1 at 5:00pm. Our annual Bartlett XMas Parade. We took the 2nd Place Mayors Trophy this year. 'The Sounds of Christmas' was the theme for this years parade so we went with 'Walking in a Caribbean Wonderland'. We had lots of help to build our new float and it worked out great.
